Discovering France: Bretagne
- Cookshop 2625 Southeast 26th Avenue Portland, OR, 97202 United States (map)
Join us for an evening of French food and wine! Each month, we will be hosting a class and dinner focusing on a different city, region, or country in the French speaking world. At each event, we’ll start with a hands-on class where you’ll learn a traditional hors d’oeuvres from the area. Then, we’ll all sit down and enjoy a three course meal, served family style. There will be an option to include wine with your meal, and additional bottles will be available for purchase. A portion of each ticket will go towards supporting students at a local, French Immersion school.
June’s event will focus on Bretagne (or Brittany). France’s northwestern-most region, Bretagne has its own language (Breton), and is famous for its seafood, cider and crêpes!
June menu:
Galette (savory crepe)*
Salade
Moules Frites
Far Breton
What to expect:
