Each month, Cookshop, will be hosting a potluck dinner, where all attendees will bring a dish they made using a recipe from a selected cookbook. We’ll discuss the book and dishes, and enjoy the meal together. Cookshop will provide your first glass of wine or n/a beverages.
The cookbook for October will be The Magnificent Book of Vegetables, and your host will be Hawnuh Lee of Closed Loop Cooking and Tzimmy .
About book…
As a trained nutritionist, Alice knows the importance of vegetable-centric, wholefood eating, but at the same time understands that most of us lead busy lives and shop at our local supermarkets. As such, many of the recipes in this book are uncomplicated yet big on flavour, and really make the vegetable the hero of every dish
Once you have registered for the event, you will receive an email with instructions for signing up for a dish. Attendees will also submit suggestions for upcoming cookbook titles for future events!
Please note, the dates below are for all upcoming Cookbook Club events, and a different book will be the focus of each date.
November 17th @ Vivienne Culinary Books, Book - The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Kitchen
December 15th @ Cookshop - A Good Day to Bake
