Winter Solstice Dinner + Storytelling

$125.00
SOLD OUT

Join us on the winter solstice for a night of slowing down, cooking good food, making connections, and old fashioned storytelling. Our menu will focus on hearty winter comfort foods, and our stories will be tied with a theme. Candles will be lit, music will be played, and glögg will be served.

What to expect:

  • This event is less hands-on than most, with the focus on enjoying a seasonal, celebratory meal. Participants will learn an hors d’oeuvre and a winter cocktail.

  • Each student will enjoy 4 dinner courses, and wine pairings (non-alcoholic pairing options available).

  • We will have 2 guest storytellers joining us who will share their craft in between courses.

  • Each ticket sold includes a special solstice gift and a donation to Oregon Wild, a non-profit that works to protect and restore Oregon’s wildlands, wildlife, and waters as an enduring legacy for future generations.

  • We will be joined by chef Luca Ponti, and storytellers Dave Williams and Annie Rosen.

  • Menu will include gluten free and vegetarian options. If you have additional dietary restrictions, please send us an email before registering -info@portlandcookshop.com.

Date: Wednesday, December 21, 2022, 6pm - 9:00pm
