Culture Club - November 2021
Culture Club is Cookshop’s fermentation and preservation club! Each month, we will introduce a new project to the group, with demos, important tips, and information shared to help you complete fermentation and preservation projects at home. We’ll also host guest speakers, taste locally made ferments, and have time set aside to discuss questions and preserving conundrums.
Leading each meeting will be Jocelyn Furtado, an experienced chef, and serious fermentationCurrently in product development for an innovative snack company, Jocelyn loves diving deep into new kitchen projects and can’t wait to share her love of pickled and preserved goodies with everyone!
What to Expect:
Ticket price includes samples of items made in class, all recipes, and a glass of Good Wolf Water Kefir.
Class will include about an hour of demo and discussion, followed by time for tasting, questions and socializing.
Wine and beer available for purchase.
Home fermentation instructions will be shared, with the hopes that you return next month to report on your progress!
