Come learn about Basque Cheesecake - a perfectly, ooey gooey, deeply caramelized cheesecake that will transport you to San Sebastián where this famous dessert originated. Kir will also cover a quick and clever way to make a delicious, deconstructed cheesecake that would be a hit at any dinner party or special event.

Each student will leave with their very own 9-inch springform cake pan to use for future bakes. Students will also take home a custom, deconstructed cheesecake dessert of their making.

Originally from Chicago, celebrated baker Kir Jensen has made Portland her home for the past 20 years. She is best known for her beloved dessert food cart and bake shop, The Sugar Cube.
