About our instructor
Jannie Huang first got a taste of the culinary life at her parents' restaurant in New Jersey. A long and winding career followed, from cooking school to restaurants to launching a food festival. Along the way, she met the love of her life (Carrie), got married, moved from Brooklyn, New York, to Portland, Oregon, became a mom (twice), and started her own business teaching others to cook "the Huang way." As she says: "It always comes back to cooking and family. I want to share my recipes and life with people."
