Summer Camp: Cookbook Week
This week we will explore the art of the cookbook. What makes you excited to try a recipe? Every camper will create their own book of illustrated recipes to bring home. Campers will hone their drawing and cooking skills, to keep them creating all summer long.
This camp is for kids entering 3rd - 5th grade and will be held June 10 - 14.
What to expect:
Kids will prepare and eat their own snack and lunch each day. No need to send either!
We’ll learn how chefs and authors write recipes, examine different styles of recipe, and work to create our own through trial and error.
We will have at least one special guest author to talk to the group about how they became a cookbook author.
Some time will be spent each day at nearby Piccolo Park.
