Junior Chef Takeover
Have you always wished you could get a night off from cooking (or eating not-so-healthy take-out)? Wouldn’t you love for your kids to learn some skills that allow them to take pride and feel more confident in the kitchen? Then this is the class for you AND them! For one night only, we’ll be turning Cookshop into a pop-up restaurant, comprised solely of kid chefs!
How it works: drop your kids off at Cookshop at 3:30 on Sunday, September 30th, (and go enjoy 2 hours on your own). We’ll cook all the components for a simple, yet delicious AND healthy three course meal. You return at your reservation time (between 5:15 and 5:45) and be served by our junior chefs.
Class will be team taught by Cookshop owner, Meredith Mortensen, and Michael Gill, a nutritionist, father, and the creative force behind Dad’s Place is in the Kitchen.
Price includes 2 hour cooking lesson with kids, and dinner for adults. Kids will also be fed before adults return. Adults may purchase a glass of wine, beer, or water kefir for an additional charge to accompany their meal. Kids aged 7 - 12 are welcome to attend.
