Cookshop Kids: Spring 2023
Join the Cookshop instructors for this ten week series. In this weekly class, we will work our way through lessons on important kitchen techniques, ingredient investigations, and essential cooking skills. Our goal is to get kids excited about food, up their confidence, and experiment with new tastes and flavors!

A sample of our curriculum:
Week 1 —Knife Skills: safety + technique + tools
Week 2 —Measurements: teaspoons, tablespoons & cups, why to use weight; dry vs wet
Week 3 —Stovetop Skills
Week 4-9 —More important skills like kitchen organization, all about eggs, why things rise, mise en place, baking techniques, herbs and spices, and more!
What to expect:
All ingredients, tools, recipes and instruction is included.
No prior experience is necessary, but being open to trying new things, curiosity and interest in cooking is a must!
Dishes will be sampled throughout class, and some leftovers may go home with students to share with their family.
This series is geared towards kids in 1st - 5th grade. Please enquire if you have a child in kindergarten, and we can see if the class is a good fit.
CLASS DATES: Wednesdays, April 5th - May 31st from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm*

Cancellation Policy
Classes may be cancelled 7 days prior to the date of class (or first day of a series class). Within 7 days of your class, we no longer can offer refunds for cancellations, but we can happily transfer your registration to a friend or family member designated by you to attend in your place.
