Easy Kid-friendly Breakfasts

Breakfast can be a chore for the caring parent who is rich in intention and short on time. This class is about making the most out of this small window of time to help your children fuel their days with quick, simple foods that are easy to make ahead, high in quality nutrients and even easier to negotiate. We will demonstrate and make mini frittatas, “savory” smoothies, healthy cereals like make-ahead-muesli, happy hash, and stewed fruits. These are kid tested recipes that will help those morning transitions happen smoothly and with greater confidence, even if you are eating on the go. Class fee is $100.

Class will be led by Tressa Yellig, founder of Wildheart Solutions. Tressa is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York, the Yerba Buena School of Herbal Medicine, and a member of the Functional Nutrition Alliance. She specializes in a variety of health supportive cooking styles, but mostly advocates a nutritional philosophy of traditional fats, sprouted grains, pastured meats, raw dairy and fermented foods.
