Join us for a monthly class just for teens! At each class, kids will dive into key cooking techniques, and healthy, seasonal recipes to gain confidence and valuable skills in the kitchen. We’ll cover topics like safe knife skills, mise en place, measuring and baking, stovetop and oven techniques, sauces, and more!

Ingredient focus for February: Squash!

What to expect:

  • All ingredients, tools, recipes and instruction is included.

  • No prior experience is necessary, but being open to trying new things is a must!

  • Each class will end with a shared meal and discussion.

  • This class is geared towards kids age 13-18 (in middle or high school).

We will be cooking with wheat, eggs, nuts, dairy and some animal proteins. Please inquire if your child has food allergies or intolerances before signing up.

Class Dates: Tuesday, February 4th 4:00 - 5:45pm

About our instructor:

Leading the class will be Kelly McLauchlan Stone. Kelly is a corporate wellness consultant, nutritionist, and yoga instructor. She’s a big fan of eating seasonal whole foods and making any meal nutritious, delicious and fun. She is a talented cook and educator, and Cookshop is thrilled to have her lead this class!
