Discovering France: Alsace!
Join us for an evening of French food and wine! Each month, we will be hosting a class and dinner focusing on a different city, region, or country in the French speaking world. At each event, we’ll start with a hands-on class where you’ll learn a traditional hors d’oeuvres from the area. Then, we’ll all sit down and enjoy a three course meal, served family style. There will be an option to include wine with your meal, and additional bottles will be available for purchase. A portion of each ticket will go towards supporting students at a local, French Immersion school.
February menu:
Tarte Flambée*
Farmer’s Beer Soup
Choucroute Garni
Kougelhof with crème fraîche ice cream
What to expect:
Hors d’oeuvres class* will include instruction, tools, recipes and ingredients.
There will be some demo, and some hands-on cooking.
Most of the evening will be spent around the table with a three course, family style meal prepared by our chef instructor.
Our meal includes pork, gluten and dairy in several dishes, and isn’t suitable for vegetarians, gluten or dairy free folks.
Wine add on includes at welcome glass of wine, plus a glass with the main course. Purchase below, or add on at the class. Additional wine available for purchase.
Date: Saturday, March 4th, 6 - 8 pm
